Privacy Policy

Cardarium is a free Pokémon TCG card database and collection tracker. It is built to be local-first and privacy-friendly: there are no user accounts, and we do not run a database of your personal information. This page explains what happens to your data.

No accounts, no personal data collection

You can use Cardarium without signing up or providing any personal information. We do not ask for, collect, or store names, email addresses, or passwords.

Your collection stays on your device

When you add cards to your collection, that data is saved in your browser's local storage — on your own device only. It is never transmitted to us or stored on any server. Clearing your browser data will erase it, which is why the collection page offers a Back up / Restore feature so you can save a copy yourself.

Analytics

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall traffic (such as page views and general region). It is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track you across other websites.

Third-party services

Displaying card data requires requests to a few external services. When your browser loads a page, it may contact:

• TCGdex — the card database API that provides card names, sets, images, and details.
• Our pricing proxy — a Cloudflare Worker that relays market prices from TCGCSV (a public mirror of TCGplayer data).
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery (including card images).
• Google Fonts — for the site's typefaces.

These providers receive standard technical request data (such as your IP address and browser type) as part of serving content, governed by their own privacy policies.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to TCGplayer may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking. This does not change the price you pay. Once you leave Cardarium, the destination site's own privacy policy applies.

Advertising

Cardarium does not currently show third-party advertising. If display ads are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated to disclose any advertising cookies or trackers involved, and you'll be able to review it here.

Cookies

Cardarium does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your collection is stored using local storage (not cookies), and it never leaves your device.

Children's privacy

Cardarium is a general-audience card reference tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

As Cardarium is in active development, this policy may be updated over time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
